Eldon T Jones & The Original N Touch

Eldon T Jones was joined by the original members of the N Touch band for a play-it-back concert in the old neighborhood at Alberta Abbey! N Touch was one of Portland’s most beloved groove jazz bands that propelled these musicians to where they are today. For the first time since their 2018 reunion concert, they took the stage to perform a spectacular show! 

N Touch brothers from past and present came together: Eldon T Jones (saxophone), Anthony Jones (drums), Chris Turner (keyboard), Darius Fentress (percussion), Matthew Minnieweather (keyboard), Ben Jones (bass), Zack Poelwijk (keys), Torry Ward (bass), and Gary Lomprey (guitar). Guest vocalists shined as well: “Ruby Blue” Jones, Aléa Lorén Johnson, and Alonzo Chadwick.

Circumstances prevented some original members from making it to Portland: Patrick Cooper (keyboard), David Allen (guitar), and Donovan Fairley (bass).

The Manny x LANE Show opened this special night of music for their first performance in Portland, and Renee’ Ward kept the energy high as the night’s emcee.
